Handsome!

Elijah arrived on a beautiful day with an unassisted delivery for his dam, Fio’s Becca. His sire is USA Accoyo Sinbad, a full Accoyo dark fawn herdsire. Eli is one of his first crias and he is cute as can be with gorgeous dark brown fleece. His fleece is very curly and a deep rich color. Eli stuggled through his first night but he’s off and running now with his pasture mate, Wendy.

Pretty Girl!

Fine Threads Jax Wendy arrived unassisted on Labor Day. Her dam is Lady Geneva of GLL Kwanzaa.

Fine Threads Jax, Wendy’s sire, has many award-winning offspring and we are hoping for the same with Wendy.

Wendy has a gray face and a fawn body. Her locks are beautiful and she has very nice luster. Wendy is a very strong girl and enjoys playing with her new pasture buddy, Eli.

Gucci Girl delivered her third white female cria unassisted with Sinbad’s Sadie.

Sadie is a lively girl but sticks close to mom. Her sire is USA Accoyo Sinbad and Sadie is his first girl.

Sanbar and Rosabella

Sandbar was a surprise birth on Mother’s Day. Rosabella delivered her first cria with an unassisted delivery and Sandbar is thriving.

His sire is Jax Accoyo RipTide, a light fawn full Accoyo herdsire who has award winning offspring on the ground. His dam has the MacGyver bloodline from her sire Balboa who has the record for the most Color Championships.

We are emphasizing color in our breeding program, currently owning true black, brown, and fawn and will continue to follow this line in the future. We also have two 3/4 Accoyo females to further diversify our herd along with Zumaya, a 3/4 Accoyo herdsire. We have two true black herdsires, Rocko and Krull. And new in 2011, a fawn male and female (with a gray face), a white male and female and a brown male! 2011 crias are looking very nice and we are hoping they will be in the show ring in 2012!
We are contiuning to enter fleece shows and spin-offs with excellent results! Rocko’s fleece took first place and Best Handle at 2011 OABA Alpacafest. Catherine’s fleece also took first place in that show. Rocko, Catherine and Leilah all took first place ribbons in spin-offs in 2011. Rocko took first place and Judge’s Choice at the MOPACA Spin-Off and Catherine took first place as well for 2012.

Alepaca’s Krull the Warrior King

We knew we had to add Krull to our herd when we saw his stunning true black coat with independent locks and luster. His conformation is classic and we are anticipating great things for this future herdsire. He will be a nice complement to our black females.

Krull won 2nd place at the Norwalk ALSA show in halter class, first place and color champion in the walking fleece. He also won sixth place at the Buckeye Show, with the judge commenting on his fleece characteristics “being the complete package”. He was placed sixth due to his slight stature but we’re working on that. He’s growing steadily.

We are now offering breedings to Krull!

Beautiful medium fawn female

Fio’s Becca delivered her first cria on a beautiful spring morning with textbook delivery. Hartman’s Lady Catherine is a beautiful medium fawn female with white markings on her head, face, neck and back legs. Her sire is AMDWS Thunderstruck. He is passing on color with markings on several cria.
Lady Catherine is a very independent youngster with lots of spunk. Her fleece has excellent luster and tiny individual locks. She is really adorable! Come take a look for yourself!

3/4 Accoyo Peruvian Zumaya is an outstanding herdsire. He is what breeding for exceptional fleece qualities is all about. His fleece has tightly penciled locks, tremendous luster, fine handle, and along with correct conformation and size, he is an outstanding alpaca for breeding.

We purchased 1/4 interest in Zumaya to further diversify our breeding program. We anticipate Zumaya passing on his fine fleece qualities and solid conformation to his crias.

Hartman’s Rocko 90 is sired by full Peruvian Jefferson Laurel’s Loxias and received his stunning luster from both sire and dam, Lady Geneva. The white markings on his face and each leg add character and contrast to his stricking black color. He has curly locks on his face and down his neck.
